Podcasts are in Fact Cool
The topic of podcasts can often be divisive among crowds. You either love them or hate them. Regardless of your inclination towards one or the other, they’re actually a really great learning tool. Because podcasts are so digestible you can listen to them almost anywhere. My favourite places to listen to podcasts are in the car during my daily commute and at the gym. It’s a nice change from listening to music. You’ll often learn a new thing or two and have a few laughs along the way. There’s a podcast for almost every topic, from true-crime to pop culture and finance, to you guessed it, marketing.
I’ve found a couple of great marketing podcasts that are very insightful and give great tips that you can apply to your work or incorporate into your personal marketing endeavours. With the help of the team and their lovely taste, I was able to curate a list of marketing podcasts that are sure to give you a serious boost of knowledge.

Marketing School -Digital Marketing and Online Marketing Tips is another great marketing podcast that I’ve recently gotten into. This podcast is ideal because it’s SO digestible. These daily podcasts are around 7-10 minutes and are led by Neil Patel and Eric Sibu. The information that they deliver is quick and very efficient. This is a great option if you don’t have 1 hour+ to sit and listen as it delivers a lot of useful information in a fraction of the time.
They discuss everything from online social media platforms and how to create new social engagement to SEO and how to increase your conversion rates and decrease your churn rate. They are also really great at content marketing and creating catchy copy that makes consumers “click.” Essentially everything under the marketing sun, they’ve covered.

In addition, they provide listeners with an abundance of useful information that industry leaders have tested and analyzed. Various speakers provide really great tools and tips when moving forward in the world of research and analytics. This podcast, as well as the next recommendation, was suggested by Sharique, our Chief Digital Strategist. He likes to nerd out on data, analytics, and SEM, but we still think he’s pretty cool.
