Support is provided to Canadian recording artists, songwriters, managers, labels and distributors through various programs which all aid in the development of the industry. CRFC

To financially support community radio broadcasting is to promote and showcase Canadian culture and our country’s valued diversity. The only organization mandated to financially support Campus and Community Radio Stations across Canada. www.crfc-fcrc.ca

APTN

Harvard Broadcasting and The Aboriginal Peoples Television Network have teamed up to create broadcast opportunities for aboriginal and First Nations broadcasters. Launched in 2007, Harvard’s news mentorship programs in Calgary, Saskatoon, and Fort McMurray is specifically geared to give First Nations people the experience needed allowing them to break into the world of news broadcasting. Since the program’s inception, many of the participants have gone on to gain employment not only with Harvard but with other broadcast outlets across the country. www.aptn.ca

Canadian Music Week

Canadian Music Week is a mini global village for artists and industry executives from around the world and all sectors of the business to engage in a free trade of ideas. The conference is made up of seminars, debates, keynote speakers, celebrity interviews, and mentoring sessions. It attracts more than 3,000 delegates, all assembling to be informed about the state of their marketplace, learn about cutting-edge technologies and trends, network and build lasting relationships with tomorrow’s leaders.
